Hey! I'm trying to help my cousin out with a project on his boat, a 2005 Beneteau 423. He wants to retrofit a bow thruster and is a little out of his element.
He wants my help because I successfully retrofitted my boat, but the truth is, I had some help from my friends back then. Now, I'm trying to help and ask all the right questions here lol

I was hoping to get some advice from anyone who has done this on a Beneteau.
What brands did you go with? How much interior disassembly was needed, and what kind of cabling did you have to run?

We're also curious about where the battery for it was stored and if the forward water tank was an issue. Any info on brands, specs, and cost would be a huge help!

Did one with my buddy on his 423 with a side power unit and we took a lot of sweat in trying to work around the forward water tank and running the heavy cabling but in hindsight, a dedicated bow battery would've been smarter. Interior panels have to come out, but it's more time than difficulty
