Upgrading AC unit on Oceanis 423

Swapped out the AC unit on my '05 Oceanis 423 this week, and phew......what a project. The old unit had been limping along for a while, barely keeping up in the heat and making more noise than cold air really, finally replaced it with a newer, quieter 16,000 BTU reverse cycle model, the fit was tight, especially in getting the old one out, I did some rerouting abd dealt with a stubborn seawater intake hose that clearly hadn't been touched since launch day
But I learned a lot and anyone that ever wants to do a replacement like this, I'd say make sure you measure the footprints and check amp draw if upgrading

I'm so glad you got it sorted! Thanks for sharing that last tip. :)
