Need line specs for Oceanis 38CC rigging

Got handed a Beneteau Oceanis 38CC by my parents. It's sort of a gift, though it sat for ages before I got my hands on it. The rigging is way overdue for replacement, but I can't track down specs on furling line and halyard sizes. Does anyone have details or know a similar model with matching measurements?

Nice gift even if it comes with a project list! I'd say check the manufacturer's official specs or rigging diagrams if you can find them for your specific model year. Sometimes a Beneteau dealer might have access to this info.

Thank you for the suggestions! The trouble is that finding any original paperwork for this boat has been tough sledding. I'll try giving the dealer a call and see if they can pull anything up for me.

Factory documentation needs to outline the line diameters for your hull number. You can either measure the diameter of your current cordage or reach out to local riggers who are familiar with Beneteau specifications

Thank you for providing additional direct avenues to try. Sorry for the slow update. The project was on the back burner while I attended to a few other matters this summer. The dealer route I was pursuing unfortunately didn't turn up any of the original documentation for my specific hull. Measuring the old lines is a very practical next step but I'm concerned the previous owner may have used incorrect sizes. Is there any risk in just matching the old lines if they appear worn or stretched? I will head to the boat this weekend to get a full set of measurements and will also call some local riggers for their opinion next week.

Not an expert, but matching the old lines is a good starting point. If they don't fit well, double-check the specs with riggers. Or, compare them to what the manufacturer says, if you can. Getting it right now will keep you from having problems later.
