Greetings All,
I bought a 1999 Beneteau 381 Oceanis a few weeks ago and I am thrilled! She is in a slip in New Buffalo MI. As to my name, my Mother's maiden name was Saylor so that seemed appropriate. I have had a little set back in getting to know the boat though. I was so proud of the spring line I obtained to connect to a metal post on a finger pier that would keep the boat from hitting the concrete in front of the slip when docking. However, I learned quickly that I needed to be very careful to keep my feet out of the way of that line! I have a fractured foot and am in a walking boat. I was actually very fortunate and it was a great lesson. Still hoping to take it out tonight too!
