Beneteau B331 switchboard terminal block how to remove wires

I've been messing around with the switchboard terminal block on my Beneteau B331, and I've hit a bit of a roadblock. I can't figure out how to remove a wire from the rail terminal block.

Is there a specific tool I need for this, or is there a trick to getting it loose? Has anyone had experience with this? I'd really appreciate any advice!

Most of the terminal blocks use a small flathead or terminal release tool to open the clamp, just press into the slot above the wire while gently pulling it out, spring type, will need a proper push tool to release it

yeah, sounds like a spring cage terminal block. You need a small, thin flathead screwdriver. Look for a tiny rectangular slot right next to the wire entry point. You push the screwdriver into that slot and hold it, which compresses a spring and releases the wire. Then you can pull the wire out. It's a two-handed job, but it's a very solid system once you know the trick!

Yeah, a small, flat-head screwdriver should do the job. You need to push it into the slot on the top of the block, right above the wire. That'll release the internal clamp holding the wire in place. It's not as straightforward as it seems so sometimes, you'll need to give the wire a little wiggle or a gentle pull as you apply pressure with the screwdriver. It should pop right out!
